experience and approach to therapy
With over 18 years of experience as a licensed psychologist—and the lived perspective of being a recovering perfectionist—I specialize in helping high-achieving women break free from burnout, overwhelm, and constant pressure.
I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University, along with undergraduate degrees in Psychology (Cum Laude with Honors) and Art Studio from the University of Maryland. My work is grounded in deep clinical training, but what matters most is how we apply it to your real life.
Together, we’ll look at the patterns, beliefs, and expectations that are keeping you stuck—often rooted in earlier experiences or long-standing roles you’ve taken on. From there, I’ll give you practical, effective tools to shift those patterns so you can feel calmer, more in control, and more like yourself again.
My approach blends insight with action. I draw from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with strategies for stress, burnout, trauma, and sleep. Depending on your needs, we may also incorporate creative or reflective exercises to help you process and move forward.
